Show Tonight and the Sweeps

Show tonight:  Everyone is revved up to play at the Moose tonight!  A few differences from our Ballydoyle shows: (1) longer set; (2) we get to use our own amps and drum set, so this'll be more OUR sound; (3) Thornton (bass) and Troc (drums) are going to add their angelic voices to the mix to really fill out our sound.  We'll be running a raffle to support Bonfield Express, a local scholarship charity with a thanksgiving day 5k in Downers, so bring some dolla dolla bills ya'll (not sure I can pull that off . . .). 

Opening for The Sweeps next Saturday:  The Sweeps have asked us to open for them at Lilly's Rock Club in Lincoln Park next Saturday (Nov. 27).  The show starts at 8pm.  So for all of you living downtown, this would be a great time to see us.  You can listen to The Sweeps' music and view the video of their appearance on WGN news here:  The Sweeps facebook page. The Sweeps will also be playing with us at our Dec. 18 Shanahan's Saturday show.  They are really good, so please check out their music.

Propaganda Squad:  We want to thank our propaganda squad for all the help they've given us - Luna Phommalinh (Logos), Shawn Coyle (in-show promotion), Kristin Skelton (Logos), Caryn Coyle (photos), Kent O'Flaherty (photos); Pat and Lorie O'Flaherty (fliers); and especially the Trocs (use of their basement for the past year).  If you want to give us a hand promoting our band, please drop me an e-mail and we'll let you know how you can help. 

Help us out from the comfort of your computer chair:   If you want to support the band but don't feel like getting up, here are some great things you can do to help us out without having to put on pants:

1) listen over and over again to our songs on myspace or facebook or watch our videos on facebook;
2) "like" us on facebook and click the button to "suggest us" to all your friends;
3) become a "fan" on reverbnation;
4) subscribe to our blog;   
5) sign up for our e-mail list;
6) Or just visit our myspace, facebook, or reverbnation sites early and often

Doing any of these things helps move us up the charts on the social networking site and will help get us heard by more people.  We really appreciate the help
